INCREASE MACHINES EFFICIENCY!

Key features of TMS Industry 4.0

SELECT FEATURES THAT YOU NEED!

AUTOMATIC EVALUATION OF THE WORK EFFICIENCY

TMS automatically evaluates machine’s key operational parameters for production process and presents workload data.

FUEL CONSUMPTION MEASUREMENT

TMS automatically measures fuel consumption in machines of a different type, production date and brand.

INTEGRATION WITH FUEL STATIONS

Based on data imported from fuel stations, TMS calculates the difference between fuel filled and fuel used.

POSITIONING OF MACHINE ON THE LAND SURVEY PLAT

TMS allows placing the machine not only within the regular map boundaries, but also within mining land survey plats.

OPERATOR IDENTIFICATION

TMS allows to match each machine with operators authorized to operate it. TMS provides also automatic evaluation of worktime and operators’ efficiency even if they work on a different machines.

ALARMS

System alarms about defined abnormalities by sending automatic alarm by e-mail or SMS messages.

CROSS-SECTIONAL ANALYSES, ADVANCED DATA ANALYSES

Reports can be developed for each machine separately or for groups of machines per a different parameters and for different criteria.

OEE FOR MOBILE MACHINES

OEE - Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

Brief information that enables a quick evaluation of the machines utilization rate in mine or in construction plant, based on one number.

KPI FOR MOBILE MACHINES

KPI - Key Performance Indicator.

It is a set of control indicators that enable current and quick evaluation of machine’s efficiency. Examples of KPIs for mobile equipment are as follows: fuel consumption in L/h, fuel consumption in L/t, idling time in comparison to total working time, machine’s engine load factor.

LOADING CONTROL

Due to its ability to gather weighing data from loader or excavator scale, TMS can settle the tonnage of performed loadings. These data can be used not only for reporting on loadings, but also in calculation the KPIs such as fuel consumption in l/t or performance in t/h.

TRANSPORT SETTLEMENT

TMS enables automatic calculation of transport activities performed by site dumpers or tippers, made on the basis of rated load capacity or weight under the open load-carrying body. Pivot table made for transport report allows i.e. to evaluate:

  • loaded transport and the return trip separately,
  • transportation routes from the defined loading point to the defined unloading point,
  • chosen KPIs for certain vehicles and types of routes,
  • transportation costs per types of routes,
  • transportation routes per vehicles, types of loads, company (owned vehicles or contractor’s vehicles).

UNLOADING SETTLEMENT

TMS enables automatic calculation of unloading activities performed by site dumpers or tippers.

Unloading report is a pivot table designed to calculate number of unloading, its weight (t) and volume (m3), including:

  • unloading place,
  • certain vehicles,
  • type of unloaded material,
  • company (owned vehicles or contractor’s vehicles)

REASONS OF STOPPAGES

TMS allows to identify reasons of stoppages. Stoppages can be evaluated regarding their time and reasons.

TASK IDENTIFICATION

TMS allows to identify type of a task that machine is performing at a certain time (e.g. loading at production plant, reloading stockpiles or loading client’s trucks, which can be done by wheeled loader).

Machine key operational parameters (working time, consumed fuel, loading) can be calculated regarding time of completion and certain tasks.

Thus, reliable and neutral calculation of costs related to the production process divided into certain operations is feasible.

AUTOMATIC PRODUCTION BILLING

TMS can automatically calculate the production and produce detailed reports based on data acquired from conveyor scale or SCADA system.

OEE FOR PRODUCTION PLANT

OEE - Overall Equipment Effectiveness

Brief information that enables a quick evaluation of the production plant utilization rate based on one number.

MEASUREMENT OF THE PLANT’S ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION

TMS can automatically measure the electricity consumption based on data acquired from electricity meters or SCADA system. These data may be used for:

  • loss of energy identification (by pointing out that electricity is consumed while the conveyor belt is empty)
  • calculation of selected KPI indicator (electricity consumption per one ton),
  • calculation of direct production costs.

MEASUREMENT OF THE NATURAL GAS CONSUMPTION IN SAND DRYERS

TMS can automatically measure gas consumption in sand dryers. These data may be used for:

  • loss of gas identification (by pointing out that gas is consumed while the conveyor belt is empty)
  • calculation of selected KPI indicator (gas consumption per one ton),
  • calculation of direct production costs.

KPI FOR PRODUCTION PLANT

KPI - Key Performance Indicator

It is a set of control indicators that enable current and quick evaluation of production plant efficiency. KPIs for production plants are, for example, performance in t/h, electricity consumption or gas consumption per ton.

REASONS OF STOPPAGES

TMS allows to identify reasons of stoppages of the production plant. Stoppages can be evaluated regarding their time and reasons.

COMPARISON OF PERFORMANCE OF MOBILE EQUIPMENT TO PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCTION PLANT

A dedicated report for technological chain allows to:

  • quickly identify whether a reason for decrease in output capacity is related to the production plant, to transportation phase or to loading the site dumpers,
  • eliminate bottlenecks in production process,
  • picture the influence of everyday operational activities on OEE and KPI.

COMPARISON OF LOADING TO PRODUCTION VOLUME

It relates to production plants using wheeled loader. It allows to evaluate whether decrease in performance of production line is associated with the loader or with the plant.

COMPARISON OF LOADING TO TRANSPORTATION

It allows to:

  • evaluate whether decrease in technological chain output capacity is associated with the loading or with the transportation,
  • control a proper loading of the site dumpers.

COMPARISON OF TRANSPORTATION TO PRODUCTION VOLUME

It allows to:

  • evaluate whether decrease in technological chain output capacity is associated with the transportation or with the plant,
  • calculate the volume of semi-finished product buffer.

OEE FOR THE PRODUCTION LINE

OEE - Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

Brief information that enables a quick assessment of the production line utilization rate, based on one number.

KPI FOR PRODUCTION LINE

KPI - Key Performance Indicator.

It is a set of control indicators that enable current and quick evaluation of production line efficiency. KPI for production line is, for example, machine’s fuel consumption in comparison to the production volume.

KRIs

KRI - Key Results Indicator.

It is a set of control indicators expressed in financial terms which allow to evaluate impact of changes in production efficiency on its costs and profitability. KRI is, for example, cost of consumed energy medium (fuel and electricity) expressed in EUR per one ton.

COMPARISON OF PRODUCTION TO SALE

It allows to control calculated stock level.
