TMS MES for earthworks is a feature package that enables the evaluation of machines and operators work and efficiency within the performed production processes. 

KEY FEATURES OF THE TMS MES MODULE FOR EARTHWORKS

 

ON-LINE COMPARING EARTHWORKS PERFORMANCE WITH PLAN

TMS MES automatically compares planned earthworks with their performance and immediately informs about possible delays. Thus, immediate reaction is possible. It is also possible to identify if the reason of delay is associated with:

  • loading machine,
  • tipper or site dumper,
  • contractor,
  • loading point,
  • unloading point,
  • other reasons.
 

LOADING EVALUATION

Due to its ability to gather weighing data from loader or excavator scale, TMS MES can settle the tonnage of performed loadings. These data can be used not only for reporting on loadings, but also in calculation the KPIs (such as fuel consumption in L/t or performance in t/h).

TRANSPORT EVALUATION

TMS MES enables automatic calculation of transport activities performed by site dumpers or tippers, made on the basis of rated load capacity or weight under the open load-carrying body. Pivot table made for transport report allows i.e. to calculate:

  • loaded transport and the return trip separately,
  • transportation routes from the defined loading point to the defined unloading point
  • chosen KPIs for certain vehicles and types of routes,
  • transportation costs per types of routes,
  • transportation routes per vehicles, types of loads, company (owned vehicles or contractor’s vehicles),
  • volume of delivered loading (in m3) based on material density factor.

COMPARING LOADING TO TRANSPORTATION

It allows to:

  • evaluate whether decrease in technological chain output capacity is associated with the loading or with the transportation,
  • control a proper loading of the site dumpers.

UNLOADING EVALUATION

TMS MES enables automatic calculation of unloading activities performed by site dumpers or tippers.

Unloading report is a pivot table designed to calculate number of unloading, its weight (t) and volume (m3), including:

  • unloading place,
  • certain vehicles,
  • type of unloaded material,
  • company (owned vehicles or contractor’s vehicles)

KPI FOR EARTHWORKS

KPI - Key Performance Indicator.

It is a set of control indicators that enable current and quick evaluation of earthworks efficiency. KPIs for earthworks are, for example, fuel consumption in l/t, average number of drives per hour, average number of loadings per hour.

 

REASONS OF STOPPAGES

TMS MES allows to identify reasons of stoppages. Stoppages can be evaluated regarding their time and reasons.
